The Serbian Film Festival® is built on the passion, energy, and dedication of people like you! Our festival is entirely volunteer-run, and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us make this season our best one yet.
Whether you want to gain event experience, meet filmmakers, or give back to the cultural community, we have a place for you.
Open Volunteer Roles:
- Theater & Event Operations: Greet guests, manage ticketing, and assist with theater logistics during screenings.
- Hospitality & Guest Relations: Help welcome, guide, and support our visiting actors, directors, and VIP guests.
- Marketing & Creative: Capture the energy of the festival through photography, videography, or social media coverage.
- Translation & Subtitling: Assist with communications, program materials, and community outreach.

How do we work
The team is run by the small senior executive staff of the Serbian Film Festival team and divided into smaller practice area teams that plan, prepare, and perform numerous tasks over 5-6 months ahead of the final film festival event in October. The Orfelin Circle Board members have an advisory role and participate in the organization. We primarily communicate via email, but we meet once a month in person or via conference call for a general coordination meeting to align various teams and tasks.
